My name is Katherine and I’m Co-Chair of the Ranked Ballot Initiative of Toronto, or RaBIT for short. We’re a dynamic and dedicated group of volunteers trying to bring a small, simple change to our municipal elections for fairer results that truly reflect the choice of Torontonians. We have hundreds of supporters across the city, including Mayor John Tory.

It's a truly exciting time for RaBIT. The province of Ontario is expected to bring about legislative changes that will allow municipalities to choose their own way of electing officials and Toronto City Council is poised to make historic changes towards fairer elections. And we have lots of exciting RaBIT events planned, including town halls, outreach and education events, and fun socials. Whether you're a staunch electoral reformer or just want to chat politics and democracy, please do join us. Join our mailing list or sign up to volunteer with us via the form on the main page of our website. Liking RaBIT on Facebook and following us on Twitter @TorontoRaBIT are also great ways to learn more and get up-to-date information.

We can’t make this change alone, and we need people from across the political spectrum and with all sorts of skills and experience. No matter your interest we hope you'll join RaBIT.

With hope and optimism,
